Participant and Program Updates



God has been moving in exciting ways at CWJC!

Since the December 2006 update, this is the latest news…



11 new trained mentors!

8 Participants will be taking GED tests in March and April – please keep them in your prayers!

4 Participants raised their scores on the GED!

3 Ladies passed the GED!

2 Babies were born!

1 Woman became a Christian!

1 Participant was employed by HCA as the first CWJC participant employed as a result of a new HCA-CWJC partnership!

1 Participant began college!

Ministry Site Updates


CWJC Madison Satellite

After a lengthy process of a needs assessment, networking with churches and community ministries, and building relationships, classes are projected to begin at this site in the Fall of 2007.  The CWJC Board is currently in the process of hiring a site coordinator.



CWJC Williamson County Satellite

Volunteer trainings have recently taken place and they are currently in the process of recruiting individuals for a Jobs for Life class that will begin in Williamson County at the end of March.



Thank you to the Madison and Williamson County teams for their countless hours of dedication and commitment to making these sites a reality.

Continue to pray as God brings transformation to these communities.





Volunteer Opportunities


We will begin planning for the summer semester in the next few weeks.  Please be in prayer about how God can use your service through the ministries of CWJC.  Volunteers are needed in many ministry areas.  For detailed descriptions of volunteer opportunities, please visit our website (www.cwjcmiddletn.org).  Watch for more emails about specific needs in the coming weeks!
